The complete turn-key Coast Oliver Hotel project was awarded in September 2017. Following ground-breaking in November 2017, we set to work designing, manufacturing, transporting, setting and installing a total of 61 modules for the project, which aimed for a quick-to-market timeline to opening.

As in many hospitality projects, time was of the essence with the goal of being operational and revenue generating as quickly as possible. The required modules were built at our temperature-controlled manufacturing facility in Kamloops, British Columbia, while the site foundation work was constructed simultaneously on the installation site. Craning of the modules onto the foundation occurred in late March 2018, after which the completion team took over the final phase of the project, fully integrating each module over a period of three months. The hotel opened to its first customers in mid-July 2018 enabling the hotel to benefit from a good portion of the busy tourism season.

The 61 modules make up the four-storey, 43,000 sq ft. finished structure. The 83-room hotel also features an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, a breakfast-service kitchen and eating area, a modular vaulted grand entrance and a modular elevator.
