Background
Equipment enclosures and shelters can be customized to solve troublesome business problems. Atlas Polar, a continent-wide manufacturing and distribution firm, needed a way to protect people and sensitive equipment on its hydraulic log lifter from the destructive and demoralizing forces of Mother Nature.
Challenge
A completely customized control room was designed to be placed on a hydraulically operated log lifter to keep instruments and the operator away from inclement weather conditions. The welded steel structure was built to handle the rigorous daily logging operations while large, angled windows offer greater visibility to the logging operations below.
NRB’s innovative custom control room integrates seamlessly with the equipment and features durable finishes from floor to ceiling that can stand up to the harsh conditions on a logging site for years to come.
